Just a couple of questions, is there any way we can save changes made to the User Configuration? Any changes made are only saved until you open FSFO V3 again, and the original settings are back again. I've set disconnect AP and AT to 0 but after starting a new session they are back to the original. Second question, what are the designated speeds for flap extension and retraction and can these be changed as well?
Thanks for a great program Matthew.

DM,
All changes should be saved; I just checked again and appears to be good. This sounds like a permission issue; can you check to ensure you're running this program "As Administrator"? Right Click > Properties > Compatibility (tab) > Run this program as an administrator (checkbox).
Flaps Extension Speeds are based on your aircraft type and weight; there are tables within the program that are used to determine the flap ext/ret speeds. Do you want the ability to override those tables? Its probably a good idea! Thanks for the feedback, DM; please don't hesitate to make other suggestions.

Hi, Matthew: Flight Simulator First Officer version 3 is a deluxe program. A true and enormous advance in comparison with its more immediate predecessor. Congratulations! Some requests and observations: 1.- When, with the mouse, you move the First Office control panel from one side of the screen to the other, the P3D4 simulation stops, that is to say, it pauses. To recover the action you must click on the screen and then press the "p" pause. It goes without saying that the forced pause is very brief, and does not take me out of the game or interrupt the AI activity. Whenever you press any First Officer button, the simulation pauses. Could it be avoided ? 3.- The First Officer control panel is always visible and its size is especially annoying when viewed outside the booth. I think it would be important to have tools that allow to diminish, hide or transparent the image of the control panel for the visual comfort of the user. 4.- What is the possibility of having a Spanish version of First Officer in the near future? At the moment it's no more. Thank you very much for this new program that will undoubtedly leave its mark on aerial simulation. Álvaro Bayona Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator

-- From the P3D option menu, try unchecking the "pause on task switch"

-- I'll add an option to minimize and/or hide to task tray; look for this option in V3.1
4. What is the possibility of having a Spanish version of First Officer in the near future?
-- No plans for this option; i can add an excel spread sheet identifying all the sound files so users can record their own sound files.
KEEP THE IDEAS COMING!!

Hello, I want to tell you that yesterday I unchecked the pause box in the P3D, and although the simulation still continues to stop, it is now shorter, and it is no longer necessary to click with the mouse on the image because now it is enough to press the letter "P". In other words, I improve, but it persists. If this inconvenience has not been presented to other users, what could be the cause then. If you have any idea to solve it I would be very grateful. Mattehew, thank you so much for everything. Greetings Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator

Matthew, AVSIM, has not yet uploaded version 3.1. You know if there is a problem.

Dear Matthew:
1.- The problem of interruption of the simulation when you press any button of the First Officer, has been definitely solved by deactivating, in P3D, the boxes to use "Mute On Lost Focus" and "Pause on Task Switch".
2.- By minimizing the First Officer panel, it is outside the simulator image, i.e. outside the cockpit, and to recover it you have to do an "Alt-Enter". Would it be possible to create a command to recover the panel without having to go to the "Alt-Enter" formula ?
Mattehew, the program is working great. It's a real pleasure to fly, play and see how it interacts with airplanes. The First Officer is like a Swiss watch !
Thank you !

Dear Matthew,Tego problems with updating to 3.2 which I summarize below, and accompany with images: When I run the exe of the 3.2 update, it appears, but with exception alert. If I click on continue the first Officer updated to 3.2 is at my disposal, but if I leave the application, I lose it because I see version 3.1. Any idea? I noticed that when flying across the pond, Europe, the FO calls transition altitude at 5000 ft. on climb out and descent. Anyone else have this issue? Maybe Matthew knows how to correct it. Thanks again.

It's not an issue, roughlanding; it's actually adding additional immersion/accuracy to your flight. To that point, the Transition Altitude (TA) differs greatly between countries; in England, the TA is 3000 ft, in Germany, the TA is 5000 ft.

Hi Matthew, I downloaded from AVSIM v3.1, does it work with FS9 too?
