The aircraft profile is not being accepted i.e Cessna 172 cfg file 1KB. My FSX prog. is on drive C but FSFO is on another drive. Could that be the problem, please? Ab68

Are you getting an error message? Are you able to load other aircraft profiles?

Hi, thanks for reply. Yes I am getting the error message "FSFO encountered an error message while attempting to read the aircraft profile. Please check the file and try again" No aircraft file will load when FSX is running or not. I do note however that when the file is clicked, the file name is "model" and not the name of the aircraft as when clicking on the CRJ700 already in the file box when calling up select aircraft,which is accepted. Please post the aircraft profile here that you're trying to load. It should look something like this:
