Dear Simmer and dear Mr. King. Just two months I'm using in basic form the great software "fsfo". In this forum I'm reading everything they can about looking in particular for the creation of a set of checklists for the old liner as the B707. I want to know before you spend myself in an effort, it is possbile to sample and record my voice to create the necessary sounds to the various calls for that liners. Where these sounds should be inserted, and if you will need to override other sounds.
I thank you and ask forgiveness of demand but (despite using fs from more than ten years) a newbie of this software for which I would like to contribute to the development of Fsfo.
a greeting
Fabio

Hey fafo,
You can absolutely create your own voice files; however, they must be .wav files. If you navigate to the Flight Simulator First Officer V2\Sounds directory, you'll see a file named: Voices.xlsx
If you wish to simulate the copilot voice, you should record all the recordings identified in the CP - Checklist and CP - Flight Phases tabs. If you wish to record the pilots voice, record the files in the PIC - Checklist and PIC - Flight Phases tabs. If you choose to re-record these voices, make sure you name them exactly as specified in the File column. For example, if you choose to record the Copilot call "Auto Pilot," make sure you name it "45.wav" and place it in the "Flight Simulator First Officer V2\Sounds\FO" director. If you choose to add new files/calls (i.e. files not listed in the spreadsheet), you can name them whatever you want; yet, you need to list them in the soundRec.cfg file. So, lets say you want to the copilot to call "INS", simply record a .wav file. Then add the following line to the soundRec.cfg file:
fo=INS,ins,N
FO = first officer INS = The call ins = .wav file name (don't add the extension) n = not interactive (all new items will be listed as not interactive)
LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANY HELP. Also, I'll hope you'll consider sharing your sound files.

Many Thanks mr King. I want know the logic operation of the software. The checklist (sounds) are selected thanks to the cfg file. if for example you want to overwrite the sounds without adding new file (using a checklist existing) it work?
I ask this before creating anew the series proper. Thank you and I apologize in advance if I asked a question already made. Greetings Fabio
I can for exampl
