I've been busy on a completely new FSFO, which will cover the PMDG 737, 737u, 777, QW 787 and 757 aircraft; this was completely written from the ground up to leverage the latest .net framework.

Hi...will I have to purchase this product or is it an upgrade to the previous version Clive It’s a brand new product; however, there will be discounts to previous owners...as always. It’s taken me 8 months to write this, record all the voices, etc... However, my intent is to keep this product line affordable! I’m asking 30 USD for 1st time buyers and 20 for previous owners. That’s just 6 USD per aircraft. Lower once I add the CS 757 in 3 weeks (free). I’m also going to add the TFDI 717 and PMDG 747 for a nominal upgrade price, which will cover my cost to buy these aircraft and time it takes to write. I’m really interested in your thoughts, Clive. Again, it’s important that I keep this product line cheap! I don’t want to go down the road of the other virtual copilot program that charges for EVERYTHING. Just trying to find a good balance. Thoughts?

Hi
Thanks for the information, Your message reads as if you are trying to justify the cost of your product. There are users who do not realise the amount of work, time and effort that goes into developing utility software and expect everything cheap and also free. I hope I speak for other users who do not mind paying for a product as long as the product is quality and support is available. Do you include your support costs in with the product cost? My thinking on support is that although developers should offer support for any product that they develop, support is very time consuming and can be more exhausting than developing the product. I am aware of one developer, Chris Bell (Black Marble) who offers his support package separate to the main package. Many users think this is an extra charge but I think it is a very structured approach to offer the main product and support as an individual packages, giving users the choice to buy either just the main package at a cheaper price or the main package + support.
When using the FSFO Professional I will give constructive feedback on the product. I watched the tutorial video and was surprised that you had the aircraft positioned on the runway at the start of the tutorial, I would have thought that the aircraft would have been parked at the gate and the tutorial would have commenced from there following the start-up, push, start, taxi and take-off procedure
Keep up the good work
Clive

It is now 21:15. I have had another look on the Simmarket website and unable to trace FSFO Professional.
An update would be appreciated

It was pushed to Simmarket on Saturday; it shows it was accepted but for some reason it's not showing in the store. I just opened a ticket with them and they should have it solved soon.

If you don't think it's worth 20 USD, I want to know...seriously! Also, any ideas on improvement would be greatly appreciated, as long as it won't be too complicated for the end-user...the goal is to keep this simple. Again, thank you for you thoughts and hope you'll provide more input!

First Officer, Professional is now on the Simmarket website.
If it is of any help to other users I located the product by using the search title "First Officer" as my original search "FSFO" only brought up the CRJ version.
I have purchased the product and the automatic pricing adjustment for previous product purchase worked fine. Clive

Hi
Just a small observation that you may be able to advise on:
After I have connected and select "Pre Flight Flow", either in the application or the P3D menu the application window shrinks and very difficult to read. I am struggling to find a way how to return the application window to its original size (possibly something silly that I have overlooked)
I am using two monitors one being 4k, transferring the application between monitors does not return the application to its default size. Please advise

Clive,
Can you check your Scale and Layout setting? Right Click desktop> Display Setting > Scale and Layout option
This occurred on a tester's machine; he resolved it by changing the above setting to 100 vice 125%.

Hi Matthew My two monitors are set at different resolutions (both above 100%) Dragging the application window between both monitors does not change the size. Therefore, if you are able to prevent the application window from changing size by adding a few lines this would be appreciated.
