Hi Matthew,
I installed FSFO Pro 1.11 and start the NGUx at an airport.
I set the cold and dark option from the CDU and let it initialize the new panel state.
I then connect FSFO and after the Copilot greeting it start its preflight flow.
So good, so far.
When the Copilot announces I can set up the FMC it has the IRS location filled and won’t let me update it with the GPS location from page 2.
Meanwhile the checklist GUI shows waiting IRS to align even though I have it set to instant.
I have to turn off the IRS and re-align to enter the GPS coordinates to continue the flight planning.
I’ll CTRL hold to have the Copilot continue with the flows.
It then changes the IRS alignment to ITT and I lose the captain MFD and NAV screens and the it moves the engine start switches with the left one set to GND and the right to FLT.
I’ll correct that and let go through the flows again and then select engine start.
The Copilot turns the ignition switch to GND but the engine does not start and reads Eng Fail.
The Copilot failed to close the by-pass valve, set the APU bleed and turn off the packs.
I have to do all those steps in the flow before the Copilot can start the engine and then it skips to engine 1 and doesn’t start engine 2 which it tried to and failed.
After I start the 2nd engine I let it continue its flow and I lose the Captain side MFD and NAV again as though the IRS wasn’t aligned.
I try to re-align the IRS but never get the captain side displays back.
I got so frustrated I popped up the Copilot displays and flew the flight like that.
I’ve been a long time user back to the make your own checklist days, really want this work as I really like your work, but this one has me baffled.
PMDG had an update to the NGXu on April 9th I wonder if enough changed to cause what I’ve described above.
Thanks for your help!
