Hello Matthew;
Hope the Dev is going very well on the latest package.
Still having issues with the app freezing at some points of the flight however, just wanted to mention I few things I noticed while using the product not sure if you are aware of them or not.
So just want to make it clear of what I have: QW787, Win7 and FSX.
1) Mng Baro: The copilot does set the altimeters to standard when passing the Transition Altitude on the climb phase however, he doesn't do it in the descend phase. He calls it but I have to do it myself. Not sure if this is a bug or it was designed that way.
2) Mng TakeOff Flaps: This works almost all of the time where the copilot will raise the flaps at the appropriate speeds of the climb phase however, I did notice it didn't do it all of the time. What I noticed was it seems to occur when:
- I am climbing out of a high altitude airport "KDEN" and the 10,000 feet "procedure" is completed before I reach speeds to retract the flaps from "5" to "1" and then "up." So it seems that once the (10,000 Ft) process is complete the "Flaps Up" speeds monitor is no longer looked at. Again, this seems to be the anomaly; but i could be wrong.
3) Shutdown: (A) Cutoff switches - If the copilot shuts off the cutoff switches it's not registered on the Secure Checklist, I have to flip them on and then off for it to registered as off on the checklist.
- (B) Taxi Lights - The taxi lights are not turned off as part of the Shutdown process, the lights and the switches are left on. I have to manually turn them off. Not sure if that's the Captain's responsibility or not.
Again, these are very minor issues with the QW 787 which doesn't affect the performance of the product in any way but just wanted to point it out to you to clarify. Not sure how many of your customers use the 787 since the PMDG are much more popular products.
Thanks again, and keep up the good work.
Regards.
