First major bug located...Do not use the "startup rdy" option via the Aircraft Profile screen; it will results in a slow interface response. I see the error and will fix with the next update....

Hello! great work for this program ! First bug : the destination airfield is remaining red, even if a valid ICAO code is entered (the departure airfield is green)

Hmmm...I thought we had that fixed from V1. What language package are you using, pelican? we'll get this sorted out soon enough...

Hello
I have done several tries with the default B737-800 in fsX. I have some issues, but I don’t know if it’s because I don’t use correctly the soft with good parameters.
- Raising gear after take-off. o In spite of choosing this option, my copilot never raise the gear.
- Turn on landing light and strobe light when entering the runway. o I believe my copilot never turned them on entering the runway in spite of choosing the option mng complexe lights. Perhaps because i put it in my before T/O checklist with option 1 - 1. o But the copilot is able to turn them off after landing. o I don’t know why for now, but sometimes he don’t turn them off too. I will continue to test.
- Spd hold. o In spite of choosing the option “set SPD” in the aircraft profile, the option “Spd hold” is inactive in the screen OPT. Is it normal ?
- Autobrakes option o I have choosen the option Autobrakes = 1 in the user profile, the copilot continue to choose 2 when we arrive near the dest (seems 25 nm as you say). o It seems there is no detection when i put it in the after start checklist or after landing checklist with option 1 - 1
- Before landing checklist. o I choose an another figures than 5 nm in user profile, it seems to work good with this new distance, but when I reopen the user profile page, my figure is not proposed. I have seen in the user.cfg file, and my previous figure is ok (perhaps a problem of screening ?)
- Order on altitude for engaging AP options. o I choose to engage the ap in this order (spd hold 1200 – AP 1400 – Lnav 1600 – Vnav 1800). I don’t understand why, but the copilot don’t want to engage Lnav. It try another order and it works : spd - lnav - vnav - AP. o Is there a special order between those options or special altitudes ?
- Seat belts = 11000 MSL o I don’t see anything on seat belts in spite of using this option. What is the effect ?
- Bank angle user profile : o I think you already saw the bank angle is in Knts ;-)
- GS Warn user profile : o I think you already saw the GS warn is in degree ;-)
- Mng aircraft heading aircraft profil o Can you explain me when the copilot use this option, please. I saw a change in the heading just after take off or perhaps just before. I don’t remember exactly, but I will continue to test.
- Reset to VS : o I saw the Speed hold goes to N1 instead of Spd when you reach the 1000 ft near the altitude choosen in descent. Is it normal ? on B737 i can choose a N1 so it's not a problem.
- I also have problems to achieve all the approach checklist sometimes, but I can’t tell something else for now. I will continue to test. Perhaps because of some phrases in checklist with option 1-1.
- Could you do some precisions with the options in checklist profile, please : o I see some options with Y : for example : vertical speed 293. I want the copilot checks something but I can’t find what. I have choose “set” with a result 1 but no effect. I have also choose “up” with a result 1 but no effect to. It’s because, I don’t know what the program checks you see.
- Well, with all those questions, I think you will have a huge of time to search… thank you in advance.
Cédric

First,
I want to thank you for taking the time to detail every anomaly! This is kind of a beta considering I was the only one who tested the program
- Raising gear after take-off. o In spite of choosing this option, my copilot never raise the gear.
I cannot duplicate this error. My landing gear retracts with every aircraft I own (majestic DHC 8, LVL D 767, QW 757 etc). Can you try a different aircraft? This is pretty straight forward line of code....
- Turn on landing light and strobe light when entering the runway.
The copilot should turn on the lights if the correct runway is selected on the DISP tab.
- Spd hold. o In spite of choosing the option “set SPD” in the aircraft profile, the option “Spd hold” is inactive in the screen OPT. Is it normal ?
Can you check this again? I just checked four different aircraft profiles and all were accurate; those that had the Mng Spd option selected via the Aircraft profile appeared correctly on the OPT tab. Also, the code looks correct too.
BUG! For some reason I hard-coded autobrakes 2 value. Good catch!
- Before landing checklist. o I choose an another figures than 5 nm in user profile, it seems to work good with this new distance, but when I reopen the user profile page, my figure is not proposed. I have seen in the user.cfg file, and my previous figure is ok (perhaps a problem of screening ?)
BUG! The correct value is not being read. I will add to the fix list.
- Seat belts = 11000 MSL o I don’t see anything on seat belts in spite of using this option. What is the effect ?
BUG! The code was never coupled to the interface. This is the altitude that copilot is suppose to switch off the seat-belt signs. I will fix...
- Bank angle user profile : o I think you already saw the bank angle is in Knts ;-) YEP...I can't believe I let this one go! - GS Warn user profile : o I think you already saw the GS warn is in degree ;-) See above
- Mng aircraft heading aircraft profil o Can you explain me when the copilot use this option, please. I saw a change in the heading just after take off or perhaps just before. I don’t remember exactly, but I will continue to test.
This option tells the copilot to adjust the aircraft autopilot heading to match the aircrafts actual heading. So, if you're manually controlling the aircraft, the copilot will continually adjust the heading bug to match the aircraft direction.
- Reset to VS : o I saw the Speed hold goes to N1 instead of Spd when you reach the 1000 ft near the altitude choosen in descent. Is it normal ? on B737 i can choose a N1 so it's not a problem.
This occurs on some aircraft, but I can correct this issue by forcing the sim to reengage the spd function. I will add to the fix list.
Thats a good idea! I'll put together a spreadsheet detailing what every checklist function does. BTW, 293 simply checks to ensure your vertical speed is set to > 0.
Great job, sir!

Hello,
It's not a bug, but we can't add more than 99999 lbs of jetA1. In my B747, i can add 380000 lb. Could you add more fuel ? 999999 ?
Cargo and passengers : On a "passager aircraft", i want to put 100 passengers and 10000 lb of payload. After processing, if i look at the FSX panel, I only see the payload dispatched, but not an addition of pax+payload. Is it normal ?

I ran into the 99999 issue today when trying to load 148K in my MD-11. I apologize for the oversight.
Yes, FSFO V2 doesn't really care about the pax per say. Ultimately, the only value that means anything to FSX/FS2004 is the payload value....

no problem sir,
Perhaps you should do this : 70 pax = 70x154 lbs. if someone enter 70 pax + 3000 lbs of payload, you can charge the plane with 13780 lbs of payload if it's less than the max authorized payload for the plane.

good idea...I may do that for 2.1 and include a loadsheet. I removed the dispatch feature because there's a million freeware programs out there already dispatch flights well. So, it won't take too much effort to add that module back...

today, i totally remove FSFO v2 from my computer. i add a new one from avsim. i install it with administrator right, in another location. i did new checklist and config based on my old and i begin a new flight between KMIA and MYNN.
bad news : the spd hold continue to be auto uncheckted. the copilot didn't raise the train. new issue : if i click on the syst tab "flt dir" at the beggining of the first checklist, the wing light comes to be checked too. if i click on flt dir near the runway, there is no action on wing lights !!! good news : the complex lights were turned on before entering runway today.
on the after start checlist, i don't ear the copilot saying flaps 1 and flaps 2 ! i don't understand why ? Perhaps it's because he wait for an action during the checklist ? but i hear "flaps 5" in the same time.
otherwise, that's all right.

just tried a ride on MJC8 with FSFOv2, love it! I had fun configuring my preferences and creating checklist. However, during this first try I wasn't able to get my copilot set flaps and gear during approach, although I had specified the flaps values (5,10,15,35) and the extending speeds. I read on V2.1 changelog that a flight-mode override is going to be implemented. Isn't there any way to override it on the current version? I had the feeling I was stuck on "Airborne" flight mode, which was preventing me to test the approach and landing functionalities. Besides this, I just noticed already known bugs.
