Yes, connection is made via FSUIPC. It will work just fine with x and 2004. However, having said that, V3 will use simconnect only and shift focus to P3D. So, V2.* will be the last version that supports fs2004. Hope you enjoy it....

Nilsson,
I forgot to include that fix into this update...I'll make sure I add it V2.2; look for that update around 15 April...

Hallo Matthew According to your answer to BA01 (Mar 17 2014), you will no longer support fs2004 from Version 3 upward. It's a real pity. Version 3 will use simconnect instead of fsuipc. As far as i know, simconnect cannot be used with fs2004. Is it your final decision?

Unfortunately it is, philma. IMO, there will be a slow migration towards P3D; so, I need to start focusing on the primary platforms (e.g. FSX/P3D). Also, i haven't used FS2004 in 8 years; thus, my desire to continue to support that platform is dwindling. Finally, SIMCONNECT is far more efficient. Not to worry though, I still have a lot more work to do with V2.*. I just added the ability to read FS9 flight plans w/ v2.2.
