I will upload to AVSIM on Thursday 10 July 2014; I will post the link here.
I have conducted the final test of V 2.2 and I'm satisfied that its stable and ready for release; you can view the change log thread to review the additions and fixes. To upgrade from Version 2.0/2.1 to 2.2, please perform the following:
1. Save your Aircraft folder, User.cfg, and Log folder to a separate location*
2. Remove FSFOV2 via the add and remove programs or uninstall option located in your FSFOV2 directory
3. Run the FSFOV2_2Setup.exe; please be sure to "Run as Administrator"
4. Copy the folders and file from step 1 into the FSFOV2 directory; overwrite existing files.
5. Read the Manual(Help > Help > Manual); changes are identified in green font.
If installing FSFOV2 for the first time, simply run the FSFOV2_2Setup.exe. Read the manual for instructions; pay particular addition to items highlighted in red.
NOTES (HOT!!! READ!!!!)
* I reorganized some code; thus, the installer will overwrite your entire FSFOV2 directory!!! Please BACKUP your AIRCRAFT, USER.CFG and Logs!!!!!!
* I added two checklist phases (e.g. taxi and descent); please make sure you update your checklists to use these features.
* A lot of features have been added to the USER.cfg file; so, please update your User Profile!
* FSFOV2 uses a completely different method to read airport information, its important for you to update FSFO's navigation database via the User Profile screen > Nav Data tab. You can find more information in the manual.
