I'm relatively pleased with FSFO in its current state, with one exception...the sounds. I'm hoping someone visiting this board would be able to record new, quality FO and Capt calls. If you're interested, please reply to this thread.

Hi Matthew
I am not sure about copyright rules etc but I regularly use the wav files supplied with FSPassengers and FSFlyingSchool in several other applications I use within FSX. I find these ones particularly professional. I would be surprised if using FSPassengers wav files is a problem as they no longer offer support for the product. FSFlyingSchool is a different kettle of fish as it is a current product still being enhanced and maintained. I have fully purchased both these products and so do not feel that using them for myself only within other applications should cause anyone concern. However if you wish to use FSFlyingSchool wav files I would suggest you get approval to do so from them before you start doing so. Just my thoughts.
Cheers Ivan

It must have taken a while to rename all those files, Ivanrk

Hi matthew
Not really. I only use about 20 of them. The longest time was going through them selecting which ones I wanted. I use them in different ways. eg. If I just want to fly the basic B737_800 without co-pilot, instructor etc I use 8 buttons on the panel which I have programmed for hostess announcements such as Put on your seatbelts, take off your seatbelts, we are now serving drinks etc. Others I have in my music library which I have open when I am flying so I can play music but also there are another 12 wav files with meaningful names for further announcements such as the air hostess telling me we have a very sick passenger and must do an emergency landing at the closest airport, and then there is one for announcing emergencies etc. You probably get the drift. I don't always want the full blown audio options just a select few which I can select. Hope this makes sense.
Ivan
