Hello, does the fsfo for crj also work with the aerosoft crj professional version? If not, do you think fsfo can be updated for this? Thanks !

Hello, does the fsfo for crj also work with the aerosoft crj professional version? If not, do you think fsfo can be updated for this? Thanks ! It should work just fine; the only anomaly identified occurs during the preflight flow; specifically, you’ll have to hold the control Key once the APU starts. If you don’t, it will just keep looping! I plan to fix this right after I’m done with FSFO PMDG edition

Hello Matthew,
first, thank you for this excellent work. The interface is really top compared to others: flexible on SOPs and copilot parameters.
I made the registration and I did not receive a confirmation email (no spam) despite a reminder (3 times)... I did the documentation for CRJ version 1.3 in English and French, if you are interested (It not possible to send an email because no support email adress)?
I noted some problems on the P3D V4 version (not the latest Professional CRJ version being tested): - Radio COMM is not ON during the originating checklist - after the before start checklist, during the pushback with GSX, It not possible to use the parking brake in the VC cockpit when GSX ask ‘please release the parking brake’. - the APU door is not closed by the co-pilot after shutdown during the after start checklist. - not check the rudder with flight controls during the taxi checklist
Note: to be able to adjust the captain, copilot, system an flightdeck sound would be a plus...
Kind regards, Marc.

Kind regards, Marc. Marc, I truly appreciate the feedback! I will add every request you identified; I would also appreciate additional feedback. You can expect the new CRJ FSFO in 60 days; I need to finish FSFO PMDG edition first; that just went to Beta testing and should be out in 2 weeks. Then it’s full steam on updating the CRJ. FSFO CRJ Pro will be completely rewritten to take advantage of the current .Net Framework, which will improve the speech recognition accuracy. I will also allow me to use my own sound player function, which lets you adjust the volume. The interface is going to completely change too; the current one is just too busy.

Matthew, still no validation email for login... for exchange, please look at my registration for the email address. The CRJ V1.3 after final version after a last flight / waiting for the new version: www.grosfichiers.com/GQpjCz4kvun a point which does not seem correct to me: no option Taxi Checklist Aircraft: is on the ground with engines running and stable; the checklist starts x seconds after the aircraft ground speed exceeds 10 MPH; the x represents the value configured via the 'Checklist and Flow Pauses (Auto Checklist)' option. Kind regards, marc. KInd regards, Marc.

Excellent product! Looking forward to the updated FSFO for CRJ Pro. I am using the current version successfully with the CRJ Pro, with the APU workaround (and closing the APU door myself). I also found it loops the shutdown checklist. I had to hit the STOP button and restart in order to get to the termination checklist.
The cruise throttle is a cool feature - almost like having an autothrottle in the CRJ ;-) It would be nice in the update if we could change this setting in options, as the default is a tad slow at higher altitudes (I typically cruise at M 0.74 in the FL300s).
Thanks!
Scott

Thanks! Scott Thanks for the feedback, Scott. I’ll look at the shutdown checklist to see what’s looping. I like your idea. I’ll put an option for the user to identify a cruise speed and have the Copilot monitor the throttle to achieve said speed. If you can think of anything else, let me know.

Concerning the option, the taxi checklist should initiate once the ground speed exceeds 10 mph. Is that not happening? Make sure you have auto selected

Hi Matthew,
I reactivated the sending of an email which I received this time with a registration key ... = OK
concerning this option, you wrote in your documentation. '
the checklist starts x seconds after the aircraft ground speed exceeds 10 MPH' the x represents the value configured via the 'Checklist and Flow Pauses (Auto Checklist)' options.
There is no configuration option in minutes to trigger the 'Cheklist and flow Pauses' when the speed> 10 mph. L'option is only to enabled 'Auto Chklst' in global options. The checklist is triggered correctly.
Summurazition for the new version: ---------------------------------- Check rudder (left and right) with flights controls => Taxi checklist 10,000 ft, LOGO switch OFF (currently ON)
V1.3 problems: Parking brake inoperative in the VC cockpit when GSX ask ‘please release the parking brake’ after before checklist No close door APU during the After start checklist YD INOP illuminated in EICAS (ramdom) after start checklist with GSX active
Have you seen the documentation? Do you agree for me to distribute the french version? The English version, this remains your property for the difusion.
Kind regards, Marc.

Good day guys! First of all, congratulations on the software, it is really a good stuff!!! I am having problems on the BRIEF section. If I click to open a flight plan they came with a message that says "FSFO encountered an error attempting to read the flight plan. Please check the file and try again." I know that the flight plan format may be wrong but I cxould not find the right one. What should I do? Which format is the right one and where I can find it? Thanks in advance for your help Cheerr

Hello Matthew Great software. I just wanted to confirm what nascimento posted. I am getting the same message in the briefing screen. If I click to open a flight plan the program came up with a message that says "FSFO encountered an error attempting to read the flight plan. Please check the file and try again." I use Simbrief.com for flight plans and download the .pln for FSX/P3D. The plan will open in P3Dv4.5, ASN, and Navigraph Charts with no errors. I hope this info helps. Thanks

It sounds like you're trying to upload the Aerosoft CRJ flight plan, which has a .flp extension; the error is generated when the file extension does not equal .pln. Instead, download and import the FSX/P3D flight plan (see attachment). Please let me know if you need ANYTHING else. Matt Attachments:
