I plan to detail some of the new features of V2 soon. For example, the checklist have been completely retooled to allow you flexibility. You can now add, remove, or change the flow of checklists items yourself. I hope to get some pictures up soon....

You can see a limited preview here: www.flightsimfirstofficer.com/fsfoV2.htmlETA 20 April. Putting the checklist together takes time, but I'd like to upload the final version with a min of 20. The point of this program was to prevent its users from spending hours to build aircraft profiles. However, with this new system, I can build them and add after the release; they're simple .txt files. This version is working well so far! Still have to add support for the CoPilot to lower flaps/landing gear on approach and fix the limited FADEC; will control thrust based on temp. BTW, I'm removing the auto-land option too; I was never happy with how it worked. Also, I'm removing AutoPilot support on the main GUI; will keep the MCP option though. I'm adding a logbook support too, so you can save your flights. Also have plans to turn it into an ACARS for virtual airline use...freeware! Let me know if you guys have any other ideas...last chance!

I'm very close. If I'd stop adding features, I'd prob have it finished by now. Right now I just need to test the virtual copilot landing options (in this version the cp will set your flaps and gear on landing). After that I just need to test and add more checklist options. My original goal was April, but my job, masters program and family duties didn't corporate with said goal. Right now I can only spare a few hours every Sunday on this program. So, I'm looking at sept as a reasonable upload date. Rest assured, I will finish it. I can promise it will be released before Xmas.

I've finished two more features today; Payload/Fuel Auto Loader and the Log Book. The last feature I have to add is the ability to start from your previous location with the correct fuel/payload. This will be the final feature of FSFO V2. After that, I only have to add some sound files and we're all done. I'll have updated pictures by next week.
