Hi. Nice to see you back on the forums and again sorry to hear of your loss.
Firstly just wanted to check for blind pilots that the MSFS changes won’t change the interface, I.E make the program less accessible. I’m guessing not and it’s just a bridge between FSFO and the new sim, but unfortunately MSFS is not accessible yet whereas p3d is so that has to remain our sim of choice.
Secondly wondering what the future plans are from here. Do you still intend to have FSFO access the FMC’s of some aircraft like the aerosoft? I only ask since in combination with another program developed by blind pilots, talking flight monitor, we are able to access the CDU’s of the pmdg aircraft, and in combination with FSFO we have a great Boeing experience, just waiting on the aerosoft. Unfortunately the aerosoft doesn’t make it’s CDU output’s as available to us, so some form of OCR is currently in the plans to have the screen-reader access it, but FSFO is another possibility if the FMC set-up is still in the plans.
Thirdly a quick reminder of the setting’s dialogue labelling needing some attention with screen-readers. Some in our community find it difficult to use the user.cfg apparently, so having the labels corrected in the options dialogue would be useful, although I should stress not a priority as FSFO is perfectly usable just by editing the cfg.
All best, Declan.

Hi, I'm curious about this as well. I and several others are more than willing to help where we can, especially in regards to accessing the CDU. Thank you for doing what you do. You have, combined with Talking flight monitor, made this a truly unique and realistic experience in terms of the PMDG aircraft and I can't wait to see where this leads.

All best, Declan. Thanks for the welcome, Declan! I've been crazy busy with my full-time 60-hr week job, family and developing FSFO. The latter is a passion; so, I don't plan to stop. To answer your question, below are screenshots for the new interface. I plan to bring FSFO Professional up to FSFO Next (new program) standards....programming the FMC is on the list. For the third item, can you refresh my memory? I looked at my tracker and I don't see labels on the list. Can you provide an example? Eventually, FSFO Prof will look like FSFO_Next...

Hi. Unfortunately I can’t speak to the screenshots as they are graphical and the screenreader can’t access them. I will say that NVDA, non-visual desktop access the screenreader we use, is available for free download so it would be possible for you to try it with the new interface, similarly I’m sure those blind pilots using FSFO would also be more than happy to do so. If it’s similar buttons ETC this should be fine. Great to hear about the possibility of FMC support. With regard to the labelling of the settings dialogue, the current version has mismatches, I.E the box labelled autopilot off AGL is actually the choice for powerup method of GPU or APU. This is just tabbing through with NVDA, so is something with the way it reads and not a visual problem. We use the user.cfg for now. Best, Declan.
